Partner Family

This home is being purchased by the Gonzalez family.

We are known as the Gonzalez family, Jose and Quetcy Gonzalez; Richard (18 yrs old), Carmelo (13 yrs old) and Jerry (11 yrs old). Jose came to the United States from Puerto Rico in 1996 to live in Albany with his daughter Merari. He started to work for Integrated Liner Technology and has been there ever since. He met me, his wife Quetcy, in 2001 and we were married in 2002.

I have been in Albany since 1998 where I attended Job Corp in Glenmont, NY. I came from New York, NY, looking for a better life and have worked very hard to give our family a better future. We are active members of the church ”To God Be The Glory” located in Schenectady. Richard is currently in the US Army and has orders to leave for Iraq on Sept 23rd. From the moment we arrived in Albany it has been our dream and great desire to own our own home and thanks to God and Habitat for Humanity our dream has come true.
