May 19, 2007 – Habitat volunteers and the Pipino team move the trusses and sheathing to where it’s needed.	May 19, 2007 – The house has no roof, and rain is on the way! Paul Pipino’s carpenters come to the rescue.

The mother has owned a licensed day care business for 8 years. She gets referrals through Schenectady County social services. She will continue providing this service from he new home

Site & Schedule

Month	Tasks
October 2006	Remove asbestos, furnace & water heater from basement; build new basement door.
November 2006	Remove chimney. Build fix supports for 1st floor joists. Gut first & second floors.
December 2006	Demolish front porch.
January-March 2007	Break for the winter.
April 2007	Build new frame walls on 1st floor. Repair exterior of foundation wall. Demolish and replace 2nd story with full height walls and a roof that drains front to back.
May 2007	Install roofing and siding. Rebuild porches. Replace 1st floor windows and exterior doors.
June 2007	Install plumbing, wiring and heating system. Insulate walls, and cover with sheetrock.
July 2007	Install interior doors & trim. Paint interior.
August 2007	Install cabinets, floor covering and appliances. Landscape the lot.
September 2007	House dedication ceremony.
