Habitat 2009 "Team Build" Bowl-a-thon
Eighty seven supporters of Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County
came out to bowl from 1-3 PM, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Sportsman's Bowl. A
wonderful time was had by all. Marianne Hogle, team captain of Lots a Luck team,
and her team mates; Linda Cortese, Pat Clark, and Rickie Gageway raised $1,087
and took home a cash prize for doing so. The entire event raised over $6700.
Habitat thanks each and every person for their help and support in this event

Oh yes, mark your calendar for next
year's Habitat Bowl-a-thon event, which will be very interesting, called
"Costume Bowl To Build A Habitat House." It is scheduled for Sunday April 18,
2010 from 2 to 4 P.M., with sign in between 1 and 2 P.M. Team members can dress
in fun costumes that they think best represents themselves, and name their team
applicably. For example, "The Bowling Pirates," dressed like...you know,
pirates! Costume is not mandatory to bowl. Having a good time is!
