The
Habitat ReStore, a retail Home Improvement store open to the general public
is located at
1957 Foster Ave, Schenectady, NY (12308). Hours: Thursdays and Fridays,
10 am to 5 pm; and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Merchandise includes used
appliances, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertop, new and used
building materials, windows, interior and exterior doors, upholstered (e.g.
couches, love seats, chairs), and standing wood furniture (e.g. dining
tables, occasional table, hutches, bookcases, dressers, entertainment
centers), and much more. Inventory is always changing due to incoming
donations, so check with us regularly, or put your name on our Wish List for
a call if you are looking for something specific. The ReStore saves over
50-tons of material from the landfill each year. Habitat for Humanity is a
non-profit organization that builds new and renovated simple, decent,
housing for low income, inner-city families who dream of home ownership and
are willing to partner with Habitat to purchase one. The ReStore helps
generate revenue to build Habitat homes. See
